Some of us blog out of sheer love of books, and the need to share our passion with others who are sympathetic to our bibliomania. Many of us have a B.A. in English, and no one in our “real lives” to talk with about books that move us – no one who can stand our blathering. And, some of us want to help advance the careers of writers who, due to budget cutbacks, don’t get the publicity they deserve. I’m not sure what you’d call us, but we do what we do not for glory, but as an outlet for our true passion and to meet others like us. It’s that simple.

yes, and anyone who writes them, too. also, the people that don’t write them are assholes. so, in summation, those that write about books, those that write about writing books, those that actually write the books, and those that don’t do any of the aforementioned. all of them. just assholes. every last one. and, boy, don’t get me started on the fucking readers. show me a reader’s lip, i’ll set it on the pavement. either that or i’ll set a chain on the lip. probably a whip, maybe a tennis racket.
