If you can share, what’s Vollmann’s issue with the photos? There’s a separate book of the photos, right?

Bill is not happy about the final product, per usual, but I think it’s pretty accessible at least. His major issue is the photos. Now if he would just give me back “King of California” all would be well.

Better you than me. At $55 and ten pounds 1300 pages, there had better be some seriously mindblowing shit in there. But I want someone else to tell me so, because there aren’t enough vacation days in my world to take that on (and believe me, I have a LOT of vacation days).
