See, that’s the beauty of the dish, John, it needs a heap o’ deep heat to become one sweet fait-accompli treat: Take white cake, top it with chocolate ice cream and frothy meringue; then, ipso-quicko bake the concoction in a very hot oven to create this impressive à la mode standby dessert compleat (especially for dinner on or about November 2008 when human history and our contemporary character changed irrevocably for the better). Serves approximately 6.7 billion. Yum!

Hehehehe . . . Sorry, can’t resist (even though I’m a Canadian); but, Sarah Darlin’? If I may be so bold, might I suggest you consider the logical line of thought to the conclusion for which your question is begging? (And, before I do, might I remind you I am a fan of you, you, you to the point I actually put a link to your Blog on my ’site? Whew. The grovelling I have to do, LOL.) Of course! And, the result would indubitably be Baked Alaska . . . R ‘n’ D iz me me me . . .

Hey Ed, so this is my first election and yes I am registered, so I am going out to the West Sunset Playground to vote on Tuesday
