He&#039;s now (as of today, I believe) resigend from his NY Times column, and his publisher has pulled copies of his book because his quotations of Dylan were either compilations of multiple quotations or were fabrications.  Now this is absolutely not acceptable and clearly crosses the line between &quot;right&quot; and &quot;wrong&quot;.  I still believe that his &quot;copying of himself&quot; is sort of a non-issue, but this is a completely different story...
