		<description>As a consistent viewer and champion of the programme since its first late night slot, I should point out that Mark, despite his Middle England ticks, is not a Tory.  In several episodes he describes an affinity to Tony Blair and New Labour.  That said, the conservative Daily Mail here did get quite excited about his character and claimed this as evidence that being a young fogey was acceptable again after decades of multicultural hedonism.

If you were in the UK you could watch all the episodes for free but alas Channel 4&#039;s website denies others that privilege.  Not sure if it works there but there are some clips on their main site:
