That's the problem; an anti-corporate, anti-war, secular humanist dedicated to the protection of freedom, natural resources and the overall integrity of the political process couldn't even get a job managing a *MacDonalds* in America, much less make it to the primaries of a national election. These candidates are the electorate in microcosm; they are America eyeballing itself warily in the makeup mirror. You want better candidates: make a better country. People seem to have that one backwards. Obama is *extremely* American, as is McCain. To me, this is the height of decadence. Not only do the rich want everything for themselves, but then they also want the drama and angst of those who have nothing.
