Humanity plagues itself, weakens itself with trivial matters. What should be an easily understandable problem becomes muddled with biases from people who are given free domain in a platform where everyone can hear from them. Waste your lives and your time thinking about this, but I am simply done. I try to be a good person, sympathetic, caring, using contexes to understand the circumstances of my fellow person. But it has been too much, there are times where I feel such disconnection from ‘humanity’ that I cry at my own loneliness. There is true burn out from thinking about these social situations too much. Hearing the quick judgements passed by those who were supposed to be oppressed, seeing vile actions taken by those who are meant to be allies. Humanity is truly disgusting, whenever our extinction comes, it will not be by biological means, it will be because we completely plagued our culture, our flow of ideas and information tainted by vanity.

Immediately fucked vibes from the second the viral video starts. “Karen” videos are about the subject humiliating and exposing themselves with their own belligerence and unawareness. In this video, however—the only belligerent party is the cameraman, raising his voice and getting in the space of a woman having a panic attack.

He is basically using this woman’s fear and disorientation to give a performance. He doesn’t bring up that she called him a nigger until there’s an audience gathered. Sociopaths and psychopaths are very good at manipulating people into seeing what they want them to see. Add in the fact that “karen freakouts” are the hot new thing, and you can see why passers by were too ensnared within a potential viral moment that they didn’t see what was plainly in front of them: a grown man bullying a meek white woman while she crouches, sobs, and hyperventilates in front of an old cheap car in her driveway.

It’s really insane that this could be viewed as anything but sadism and cruelty. And it’s astounding to see that he’s selling fucking MERCH off this. Monstrous.

And all these comments defending this misogynist creep; did you read the article? Are you able to put two and two together? That following someone home after being flipped off, filming their face, their address, their plates, and barreling past her nervous breakdown to continue yelling at her, is fucking crazy and maybe he’s a liar? That his history of lies and trying to manufacture viral moments maybe also points to that?

Thank you for the article. There needs to be some authority on these fraudsters. The “viral video” phenomenon is obviously easily exploitable by sociopaths and other antisocial personalities. And I hope that this woman didn’t suffer too much damage from this. I’d like to think she’d have a lawsuit on her hands.

Thank you Edward Champion! Finally, someone had the courage to tackle “karen hunting” that is being done for profit and reveal how it cruelly feeds into Systemic misogynist. I think when the current media settles and visceral reactions to white and black topics come down, that this topic DEFINITELY needs further updates and discussions because I know so many individuals concerned with the degradation of women through this backlash and many who aren’t even aware of the harm they are feeding into by watching and circulating these videos.

I believe this is staged. It would not be surprising if Karlos and the hysterical woman actually know each other. Even the bystanders are not reacting the way real bystanders would act. The woman is so hysterical that any normal bystander would have instantly called the police, yet no one did. The fact that he drove down the block, then stopped to get out of the car so he could keep filming just doesn’t ring true. There was no need for him to do this. He had already told his side of the story. The only reason to keep filming was to give the other woman the opportunity to run over to him to tell him she had seen him being cut off in traffic.
