The FBI has now branched off into similar food-tracing programs aimed at locating foreign agents:
Swedish Branch: Trace sales of lutefisk, meatballs and pickled herring.
Russian Branch: Trace sales of borscht, vodka and more vodka.
Chinese Branch: Trace sales of eggrolls.
Mexican Branch: They’re not sure exactly what sales to trace, but probably stuff that goes into tacos.
I ate a handful of chick peas. I shudder to think what that portends.
What’s funny is that the FBI would end up confusing Burners for terrorists, since bulk, dry falafel mix is a staple on the playa from what I understand.
