The nominations for StorySouth’s Million Writers Award are up. Editor Jason Sanford notes that this is a contest in which the best online story of 2004 will win, thanks to your input. So vote early and vote often.

Maybe the million includes the 995,000 aspiring writers–myself included–who didn’t get published last year.
I found it interesting that the list contained at least one story that was originally printed in a dead tree magazine – in 1999.
