The only thing more pathetic than The 1/2 Hour News Hour, a conservative attempt at Daily Show-style humor with a laugh track more canned than a crate of Spam, is that the producers commit a Dubya-worthy malapropism within the show’s title.

Um, no fan of the show, but I think that’s an intentional joke, no?
I’m sure it is an intentional joke — but it’s a recycled one. I recall a TV show from my early ’80s childhood called “The 1/2 Hour Comedy Hour.” And, look — the Internet proves me right!
