I think it’s actually Bill Gibson’s novel and Womack’s just offering commentary on the title — sorry to be confusing!
Yes, Cynthia Ozick, anyone who criticizes Israel is anti-Semitic and has a “belief in demons and other phantasmagoria.” It couldn’t possibly be because anyone disagreed with its political actions as a nation-state (i.e., when I didn’t want my grandparents’ home to be bombed in Lebanon).
