haha, actually I have seen Alphaville (confession: the night before I wrote that post), but I just totally dig Godard’s garrulous Frenchosity. To this day, they still believe — all evidence to the contrary — that talking about their existential malaise and the state of world affairs will make everything better. Alas, it’s a world of images.
