    …If he means Gloria Gaynor’s I Will Survive, I think it’s a great song. I don’t understand his relating it to the time he mentions (which should probably be the late eighties)–the song was megapopular several years earlier, especially with people who had been shitted on by mates.

    I think you’ve said you’re 31? If so, you were very young during those times, so may not remember them as well as people my age (39) do.
