    I watched the above video… now I’ll have to send money to Harlan Ellison or he’ll come after me. And that goes for everyone else who watched his statement! HE KNOWS WHERE YOU LIVE!
    ;-)

    But seriously… we need a debate about when writers should get paid, and Harlan’s as good as any to kickstart said debate.

    Question: Will things just go on as they have for the past ten years — lots of free reading, imagery and YouTube clips on the Internet, forever?

    Or will some fantastically advanced payment system abruptly put an end to the brief era of free content?

    I have NO idea…
